Blue Mountain Theater proudly presents the award winning "Blue Mountain Players" in an Oscar Wilde play "The Importance of Being Earnest". Set in 1895 it is a comical, whimsical, cynical and sometimes sarcastic look at how the other half lives.

Show times are at 7:30 PM Friday & Saturday October 20, 21, 27, 28, & November 3 & 4. A matinee will be at 2:00 PM Sunday October 29. Doors open a half our prior to the show.

The Blue Mountain Players (BMP) have been producing light hearted family friendly community theater in West Point for over eleven years. This new production is a wonderful example of the quality theater that can be seen in the foothills. Local actors and local talent are showcased in our newly renovated 90 seat play house in this scenic tree lined mountain town between the rivers. "The Importance of Being Earnest" is directed and produced by Vicki Snead-Hinkell. She has been directing and acting in theater in West Point to great acclaim for over eleven years. Kathy Ryan and Marleen Olive have out done themselves again with there stunning set design and construction. Returning to the BMP is Jeff Height as Jack, Alyssa Salazar as Gwendolen, and Greg Cherry as Merriman. New to the BMP are Linda Zerr as Lady Bracknell, Chris Combs as Algernon, Angela Chandra as Cecily, Pegi Hughes as Miss Prism, Patrick Dillon as Rev. Chasuble, Bill Peterson as Lane, and Rebecca Fisher also as Gwendolen.
