Health Care Forum Details Event: SiCKO Screening and Health
Care Forum
Date: Saturday, April 19, Time: 4pm
Place: Blue Mountain Theatre, 347 Main St, West Point
Cost: Free
Calaveras County's Democratic Central Committee and Democratic
Clubs are kicking off the 2008 election year
with a series of free screenings of the acclaimed health care crisis documentary
SiCKO by Michael Moore.
A facilitated forum will follow, giving participants opportunity to voice
their opinions on challenges and solutions affecting the level of health care
service and delivery in Calaveras County.
Everyone is invited, regardless of political persuasion! Donations
are welcome with proceeds going to
M.A.C.T., Inc, a low-cost health care clinic here in Calaveras County.
Invitations have been extended to District 2 Supervisor candidates. District
II Supervisor Steve Wilensky
will attend.

JUST FINISHED A GREAT RUN
"Legends!"
a Comedy by James Kirkwood
Directed by Chris Borden.
Starring Kate Hamon as Sylvia, Vicki Snead-Hinkell as Leatrice,
Alita Coker as Aretha, Brad Barnard as Martin, Robert Pagano as Boom Boom,
and Gayle Coker as the Policeman.
The set design and construction will
once again be by the fantastically talented Kathy Ryan and Marleen Olive.
In 2005/2006, we provided art and entertainment including
two very successful plays:

In 2007 events and plays & events include a Talent Night, Music, An exibition
and performence with Masks,
and "Mary, Mary" by Jean Kerr - May
